Dorps may be swallowed directly or added to liquid or mixed with a small amount of food such as applesauce. The fluoride in this liquid product can be absorbed directly into the teeth as you swallow it, as well as being absorbed into your system from your stomach. Therefore, it is best not to eat, drink, or rnise your mouth for 30 minutes after taking this. Calcium (including milk and dairy products), aluminum, and magnesium-containing products (e.G., certain atnacids or laxatives) can decrease the absorption of fluoride, thereby decreasing its effectiveness.
